National folklore character is reflected in Dymkovskaya Igrushka (pottery figurines), Gzhel porcelain, Tula samovar (typical metal container used to boil water for tea), and Vologda lace. Carved wooden dolls as well as other things like decks of cards are sold in Khizi. Among the items you should buy and take home are champagne, vodka and caviar.
